  1. Human geography focuses on the human migration, different human groups, population, and everything that deals with human life while physical geography focuses on the land, mountain, water and everything that involves the shape, movement and the atmosphere of the earth.

History only deals with the past things that happened, while human geography also looks at possible human life in the future.

When I went to Manila from Baguio, I had to ride a bus because the physical geography of Baguio to Manila is made up of mountainous land and flat land.

When I went to Manila, I had to chose a weekday, since I know that there will be more people gathering in the mall on weekend

  2. 1. Human geo. talks about how people use the land in certain areas and how the type of land they live in affect their way of life. Physical geo. talks about the Earth and its different landforms.

    2. Human geo. focus on people react to the land they live in, history talks about pass events that affect life today.

    3. Baguio's physical geo. gave perfect reason to stay home and rest due to cold weather, at the same time, having many hills, and the climate being cool, winter break was also the perfect time for jugging and working out.

    4. Being a cold area in the Philippines, people from Baguio like to stay warm, so not only do people wear jackets all the time, people would take advantage of this time and travel to the various beaches found in the Philippines.

  3. How do you think human geography differs from physical geography?

In my opinion, human geography is all about the interaction between people and their environment. On the other hand, physical geography would concentrate more about phsical forms of the earth. Also, physical geography would deal with weather and climate of a certain region, while human geography may deal with the effet on human society, due to such climate or weather.

And what makes human geography different from a history class?

Human geography class would be different from a histroy class because, human geography would be taught and studied based on the scientific researches or the relation between human and its environment. However, history class deals with written history or artifacts, which could be clue to the past. Also, it will deal with the cause and effect of the big historical effects.

Give an example of how physical geography played a role in your winter break activities.

An example of a physical geography played in my winter break activity was a changed climate in my region. Due to global warming, winter in northern hemisphere became colder. When, our family went for skiing, many of the ski-slops were frozen, as cold weather made piled snow to freaze.

Give an example of how human geography played a role in your winter break activities.

In my winter break activity, human geography played a big role. In my hometown, it was not a small town but we were never connected to a big city. However, construction of a bridge which connects Geoje island, my hometown and Busan was finished. Therefore, more people traveled to Busan for shopping, which included our family.

  4. In my opinion, Human Geography focuses more on cultures and population while physical geography is more about the causes and effects of the different lands.

Human geography is what is going on in the present while history focuses on the past.

Since I moved to a warmer place during the winter break, it was hotter than usual, but mostly it is way hotter in Manila.

Most people move to a warmer place especially during winter. One of those reasons is why I moved to Manila.

  5. 1. I believe human geography deals with population, or the people inhabiting a particular country. Human geography might also deal with how the government, economics and environment of a specific country play a major role in the progression of a population.

    2. I think human geography focuses on how the present environment is affecting the people in the country. History deals more with past cultures and how these past cultures affected the people today. Human geography probably deals with how the culture of people today can affect them in the future.

    3. The first few days before we went down to Manila, it was cold. Seriously. I wasn't freezing, but I could feel the crisp air just hitting my body and giving me goosebumps. I am slowly recalling that this coldness is caused by the elevation. Baguio is pretty much occupying a high elevated area. When we went down to Manila, it was HOT! It contrasted the chilly air of Baguio. It also made me sick for quite a while. This is probably because of the low elevation of Manila. If we check the map, Manila is nearer to the equator than Baguio. Baguio is near the tip of the Philippines, and is much farther from the equator. This is physical geography affecting my winter vacation.

    4. So going down to Manila wasn't so bad. My Dad and one of his men drove us down all the way for 6 hours, with a few breaks in between. Culturally, we celebrated Christmas Eve and New Years. It was exciting! We had gift-giving and feasts. Christmas 2010 and New Years 2011 are very special to me. They are much more significant now that I think about it than the past few years. During New Years Eve, we went to the Church and prayed to God for a good celebration. Then, we had a big feast with relatives who came from the lowlands, specifically Tuguegarao. After that, we had a fireworks celebration! Neighbors were competing with our fireworks display. It was loud and enjoyable. That's human geography playing a role in my winter break :)

  6. Physical geography is about how the land look like, climate, more on the nature while human geography is about the characteristics of human, what human made on the land such as road and buildings, population, movement of them.

History class teaches me about what happened to a country like wars, colonization... but human geography is about the changes the human brought, the movement of the large number of human..etc.

During the winter break, the weather got cold, and no raining anymore that I used blankets to keep me warm at home and I didn’t need to bring an umbrella when I hang out with people.

Most of Korean students went back to Korea for their winter break so that I had only few friends to play. I played sports or games such as billiard, golf, movie, or shopping which requires few people, even one.

  9. Human geography is all about human migration and groups. Physical geography is all about the nature like shape of the land and weather etc.

In history class, we learn about humans history, but in human geography, we learn about how humans live.

Since there is a body of water between the Philippines and south Korea, I rode an air plane when I came to the Philippines.

I went to gang-nam because there are many people so that I could meet many people.

  10. Human geography is dealing with migration of people, different groups of people and different religions of people. Physical geography is dealing with land shape, land form and land movement.

human geography is about human life but history is only about the events that happened.

Since Baguio city is at the top of the mountain, its so hard to breathe.

I went to church and it's part of the human geography.

  11. Human geography is human dealing with human groups and migration. Physical geography is about nature like shape of the land ,and weather etc.

Human geography is about how people move from place to place and how people live or group together but for the history class, we learn about the people history so human geography is different from a history class.

Physical geography played a role in my winter break activities. For example, It's too cold in Korea so I didn't go out a lot.

Human geography played a role in my winter break activities. For example, I traveled in South Korea in week days because there are a small number of people who are traveling in week days.
